Why do I need a demo account?

Demo accounts have been created both for beginners with little knowledge and more experienced traders.

  1. Clients with little knowledge use them to learn the basics of trading, because using demo accounts involves no risk of loosing your funds (virtual money is used).
  2. Other traders may use demo accounts to test their new trading strategy and EA, or the conditions provided by the broker.

After training or testing on a Demo account, you can start trading on a real account, but only if you are aware of all the operational risks involved for trading in the financial markets.

When switching to a real account, select it according to the type of demo account you have used earlier. Below are the RoboMarkets demo and real trading accounts with corresponding conditions:

  • Demo ECN (MT4) - Prime
  • Demo (MT5) - ECN
  • Demo Pro - Pro
